Spring Snowfall
It snowed all night and was a beautiful September morning at Cradle Mountain. Walking first in darkness along the track around Dove Lake, Damon made his way through progressively deeper snow to where he could get a good view of Cradle Mountain. Finally, waist deep in snow and dressed only in shorts, T shirt and runners Damon could go no further. He set up a tripod in the snow, attached his camera with near frozen fingers and managed to get this one shot as the snow clouds began to lift.
