Cooper Creek Dune
Vast red sand dunes are normally associated with the Simpson Desert in the Northern Territory but while flying around Winton in Queensland, Damon noticed this amazing dune and was determined to photograph it on the ground. Days later, after walking for many kilometres from the nearest road, in the soft golden light of the setting sun he captured the dune and its amazing colours.
